Halloween 2019

Happy first day of November! I couldn't let today pass without giving you guys a recap of our Halloween. We had a blast making the most out of Halloween this year. This was our first year in which we were all in the same place at the same time, weren't moving, and finally settled in our home. Fall has been everything I could've ever hoped for this year. All the PNW foliage and the perfectly crisp weather gave me all the fall vibes I could've asked for.

I took the kiddos trick-or-treating with a group of friendly neighbors while the hubs stayed back and handed out candy and frightened children– we're definitely "that house" on the block. We had Halloween movies going in the background all day and ate brains for dinner. Both kids are at such fun stages right now, Lyla's just now realizing the potential in holidays and gets so excited and Leo's seeing it all happen for the first time and his responses could not be any cuter.  Everything feels whole.

Going through our neighborhood was just enough to fill Lyla's bucket to the top and after filtering through a couple hundred pieces of candy, we got our jammies on and cozied-up together in our living room for one last Halloween classic film. Tomorrow I will be taking all of our decorations down and begin prepping for the holidays. I am so ready for all the holiday festivities to commence!
