Granted I wanted to do absolutely nothing for Mother's Day, I didn't want to celebrate it alone or without my child. When I think about my daughter in the future, I wonder what she would tell her husband that she wishes I could've done better. Would she wish I played with her more often, listened to her more, had more patience? I want to do those things better everyday. Though I find myself on rare occasions getting frustrated and dying for some "alone time", I am quick to realize that her time is more precious than any "alone time" I might desire.
