1. Bake cookies and pass them out to neighbors Lyla loves to help me in the kitchen whenever she can and she most certainly loves to deliver specially made goodies to our neighbors.
2. Make rainbow playdough Easy enough to make and has the potential to keep the kiddos occupied for quite some time. We like the pretty colors that jello playdough makes
1 Cup of flour
1 Cup warm water
2 Tablespoons of salt
2 Tablespoons cream of tartar
2 Tablespoons cooking oil
1 Package of Jello 3oz pack
Add all the ingredients in a pot over medium heat and stir until a ball of dough forms. Let cool, add more flour if it is too sticky, add more food coloring if you want brighter colors. And if you're feeling extra, you can add glitter. This will store in the fridge for a few weeks with daily use.
3. Host a Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt Hosting an Easter Egg Hunt prior to Easter is a fun way to celebrate spring with your neighbors and their littles. We'll be doing just that this year, we've asked neighbors to bring at least a dozen prefilled eggs to hide so that there will plenty to go around.
4. Plant flowers This is our family's favorite spring activity to do together as soon as the weather warms up. It's fun to have a finished product to look at and Lyla enjoys tending to the plants every day. I love this cute gardening set for Lyla.
5. Scavenger Egg Hunt Indoors This is a fun one to start in the early afternoon after the kids start to get a little restless.
Currently, Lyla is home on spring break and we're having so much fun checking these off our list of things to do together. What do you have planned for your kiddos this spring?
That bunny pancake is precious! My daughter would love them.
